Mentor teams compete in Columbus tourney

Area players were well represented at the 2014 "Battle of the Paddle" Tournament held May 2nd in Westerville, OH.
- Women's 3.5/4.0 Division - Peg Wickert and Mimi Wilson, playing in their first tournament, competed in the top women's division! Peg and Mimi lost their first game, then came back to win 16-14 in an exciting second game, then bowed out in the third match to an eventual finalist team. Congratulations, Peg and Mimi !
- Men's 4.0 Division - Juan Galvan and Mike Manes (pictured) earned Bronze Medals as they finished 3rd, making it to the semifinals before falling to the eventual championship team.
- Men's 4.5+ Division - Mike Murphy and Ken Werner reached the finals and came up a little short, losing 11-9, 11-9 in the championship match, earning Silver Medals with their 2nd place finish.
